Xbox Game Pass launched in 2018 as Xbox's new initaitive that focesed on a subscription-based gaming service that offered gamers 100's of games for one afffordable low monthly price. It revolutionized the gaming industry but giving gamers tons of value by getting them into the Xbox ecosystem. From its initical conception, Game Pass was inspired by a fast-food chain that sertved gamers up a huge menu of titles for a great value. I helped develop the Game Pass logo, as well as the set design, and several pieces of key art. As the product evolved away from the fast food concept, so did the logo, branding elements, and overall design to a more modernized, streaamlined and premium look.

LOGO DESIGNS

Details

Following the throughline of the drivethru concept, the first Game Pass logo designed to evoke the feel of a restaurant chain. As the branding evolved, the goal was to try to caputure the original feel of the first logo, but with a more premium feel.

LIVE-ACTION SPOT

Details

The campaign developed a series of live action spots that featured a comedic pitchman who interacted with gamers at the Game Pass drivethru set in the world of Xbox.

I designed several set pieces that were used throughout the first phase of the campaign’s fast food concept, including the menu and drive thru window.
