Elder Scrolls Online

DETAILS

The Elder Scrolls Online franchise is one of the longest-running MMORPGs of all time. I concepted the final key art for Elder Scrolls Online: Necrom, the latest in the franchise. These projects ranged from key art to logo designs across several years of the franchise. Most of these were made with a combination of Blender, Zbrush , Unreal Engine, and Photoshop.

KEY ART PROCESS

Details

Most of the comp was built with a combination of Blender, Zbrush, and Photoshop. Some game assests were also suppplied by the client. The background structure was based off a Necromian archietectural structure with a green glow behind it. The aesthetic from the title sequence of Game of Thrones was a huge inspiration of mine for this piece.

INITIAL CONCEPTS

Details

The initial concepts for Necrom (Originally called Apocrypha) were focused on the mysterious Hermaeus Mora, an enormous all-seeing, multi-eyed and many tentacled beast. Mora resides in a vast library full of  spells and pages of lore that were worked into the final design.

LOGOTYPE DESIGNS

Details

I had the honor of designing several logo types and even a custom font for several titles in the ESO franchise, including Elswyer and Blackwood, & Gates of Oblivion

Previous Key Art Explorations

Details

These key art concepts explore the realm of Blackwood, a coastal area of the Elder Scrolls Universe. They ultimately were not used, but it was great opportunity to experiment with Unreal Engine along with Quixel Meganscans & Quixel Mixer on these.
